To save your modified/edited root htaccess code permanently do these steps:

1. Copy the entire block of BPSQSE QUERY STRING EXPLOITS section of code from your root .htaccess file from # BEGIN BPSQSE BPS QUERY STRING EXPLOITS to # END BPSQSE BPS QUERY STRING EXPLOITS
2.  Paste the entire block of code into this BPS Custom Code text box:  CUSTOM CODE BPSQSE BPS QUERY STRING EXPLOITS
3.  Click the Save Root Custom Code button.
4.  Go to the Security Modes page, click the Create secure.htaccess File button, and activate Root folder BulletProof Mode.
