Lately (for about a week or so now) we have been getting a lot of emails about account lockouts and other failed login attempt lockouts so there must be increased Brute Force Login attack activity going on right now around the Internet. For our sites we regularly get around 300,000 attacks per month so it is hard to tell when there are new surges of Brute Force login attacks based on what we see on our sites. This has been going on for us since last April – 10 months.
To turn off Login Security email alerts go to S-Monitor and change this option: Login Security: Send Email Alert When… to whatever other option you would like to use instead.
