Fatal error: Failed opening required bps-maintenance.php include index.php

Hi.
I’m using your BulletProof Security Free plugin (thanks for your work and time) on a new WordPress 3.9.1 site with “Spike” theme. I worked on it with BPS Maintenance Mode activated without problem, and today I started to test with BPS MMode deactivated (“turn off”) having this warning when try to navigate like a visit:

"Warning: require(/home/xxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxx.com/xxxx/bps-maintenance.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxxxxx.com/index.php on line 20

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxxxxx.com/xxxx/bps-maintenance.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxxxxx.com/index.php on line 20"

and now I can’t navigate or view the site, just access to the WP admin console, work with it but can’t view or preview posts, pages…
